We are passionate about internships. At AELC, we look at internships and cadetships as a way to build foundations for tomorrow's workforce, create a pipeline of highly talented students for organisations and foster relationships between higher education and employers. Staff Connection

We work closely with managers in Human Resources and throughout the organisation in order to accurately identify and clearly define the intentions for and expectations of the internship program. We aid in the creation of job descriptions for the internship program, and coordinate the recruiting process with targeted universities – often a tedious and lengthy process. We then screen the applications of candidates and provide assistance with the interview and selection processes.

Orientation

We have the experience of working with thousands of interns and hundreds of companies. We therefore offer orientation services in order to assist with students’ transitions into their work environments by providing an understanding of the process and the expectations of their employers. Additionally, we offer orientations for current employees and managers on how to fully appreciate and utilise interns and the internship program.

Payroll

AELC can handle the entire payroll of your internship program, offering the advantage of a single line item expense to your organisation, and having no impact on the head count. We can manage all components of payroll including:
