We now have the first of the 2010 Business Icons and Queenslander Jenna Waters earned the honor.
The Queensland grand final task was to create a concept and funding model for a holistic health and well being centre in Caloundra. The four finalists had two days to prepare a presentation in front of 300 people with judges such as Tim Fairfax to impress. And impress they did!
Jenna collected prizes including an Internship, organised by AELC, a 16 gigabyte iPhone from Telsra Countrywide, $2000 cash, a holiday from tourstogo.com and business tools from Results Corporation
All four young finalists, Tahnee Brahim, Aron Du- Shane and Hazel Martin along with our winner Jenna were outstanding. Congratulations to all!
Next the competition moves on to Melbourne where we will be looking to find the Business Icon Victoria winner.
