AELC Entrepreneurs Club members were recently treated to a fantastic presentation by Entrepreneur extraordinaire Alica Castillo

Alicia is a member of Babson’s Founder’s Club, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Lesanz, Endeavors Corp and other associations. She has founded 9 companies and 2 non for profits, participated in 14 boards and consulted for over 500 innovation based start ups!

So armed with that experience and a respectable collection of academic achievements including several Masters Degrees, Alicia took an hour to explain the intricasies of setting up competitive global businesses for entrepreneurs. Topics covered included dealing with paradigms, barriers to entry, crossing cultures, implementation and healthy collaboration with competitors.
